PV GAS continues to give support to Ha Tinh

PV GAS sponsored the refurbishment of Ky Khang Kindergarten

Ky Khang Commune is a coastal area in Ha Tinh with various challenging socio-economic conditions. The region is vast and densely populated, but has a low average income per capita. It is also frequently attacked by storms and floods. All of these factors have complicated its citizen’s access to education.

In response to the call for support from the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee, and to implement the Corporation’s corporate social responsibilities (CSR), particularly in the education field, PV GAS committed to the Province on a fund of VND 10 billion, to be used for the construction of a new two-story building with 10 classrooms and additional facilities, providing better educational infrastructure for Ky Khang Kindergarten.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, PV GAS’ Party Secretary and Board of Directors’ Chairman, emphasized that the sponsorship is hoped to benefit the community while embodying the culture of the people working in the oil and gas industry.

In addition to the sponsorship for Ky Khang Kindergarten, PV GAS also donated VND 500 million to the Hong Lam Scholarship Fund of Ha Tinh Province.

Established in 2021, the "Hong Lam Scholarship Fund" is to support students in the province who achieve high academic achievements but face significant financial challenges, enabling them to pursue higher education. This fund plays a vital role in nurturing high-quality talent for the province and has been widely appreciated by the community.

Mr. Tran The Dung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, expressed gratitude to PV GAS for its support, and noted that the refurbishment of Ky Khang Kindergarten and contributions to the scholarship fund would significantly of great help for the province’s local education programs. He also encouraged PV GAS to expedite the LNG terminal project in Vung Ang and continue accompanying the province in economic development and social welfare initiatives.
