PVN’s six subsidiaries listed in Top 50 listed companies in Vietnam

Forbes Vietnam has released the list of best 50 Vietnamese listed companies in the stock market, including the subsidiaries of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN).

These companies achieve the outstanding business results in their fields, have the key positions in the market and gain high profits for the investors.

Six subsidiaries of PVN listed in top 50 companies consist of: PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Corporation, PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation, Drilling Mud Corporation, PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation, PetroVietnam Drilling and Well Services Corporation, PetroVietNam Insurance Joint Stock Corporation.

Reportedly, the capitalization value of 50 listed companies reaches over VND741,000 billion, accounting for 65% of total capitalization value of the market (according to the closing price on 25/04/2014). Revenue growth of these companies over the last year was 7%, much higher than the 2% of the whole market, profit before tax grew an average of 23%, much higher than the 15% of the market in total.
