PV GAS Trade Union launches Workers

The launching ceremony was hosted by the Trade Union of Petrovietnam Gas Vungtau Processing Company (PV GAS VT), in combination with the march to conquer Tuong Ky Mountain (Great Mountain). The event attracted nearly 200 employees from 7 PV GAS units in Vung Tau city.

Opening the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Tam - Chairman of Trade Union at Petrovietnam Gas Vungtau Processing Company represented PV GAS Trade Union to call for solidarity and emulation to welcome 2023 Workers' Month - Action Month on OSH; to express the determination to enthusiastically and effectively join programs and activities for the employees and the community of both PV GAS collective in BR-VT and the whole PV GAS; especially to strengthen the development of safe working procedures and measures, the improvement of working conditions, and to take action together in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for employees’ physical and mental health.

Right after the enthusiastic launching Ceremony, all the "cohorts" from 7 units gathered and set off in the march to celebrate the 2023 Workers' Month. The climbing route was nearly 6km of elevation gain filled with PV GAS colors, and the cheerful atmosphere of the early morning in the summer solstice.

When the whole team conquered the mountain’s top, the prize for the march was colorful photos recording a journey together. The members of PV GAS great family entered May with efforts, spreading the spirit of "Connecting workers, building organizations", strengthening confidence and pride, improving close relationships with trade unions, and contributing to building a stronger and stronger PV GAS Trade Union.
