PV GAS continues to be named among Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Viet Nam in 2020

The VNR500 Ranking has been researched and published for 14 consecutive years to honor the largest enterprises in Viet Nam, which have achieved remarkable achievements in production and trade. The Top 3 largest enterprises in Vietnam in this year are PVN, Samsung Vietnam and Electricity of Viet Nam (EVN).

Many companies in the Oil and Gas Industry are ranked at the high spots in the Ranking, such as BSR at the 11^th spot; PVOIL at the 15^th spot;  PV GAS at the 16^th spot; Vietsovpetro at the 28^th spot; PVEP at the 39^th spot; and PV Power at the 40^th spot.

Many other companies in the Industry also were named in the list of Top 500 Largest Enterprises such as PTSC, PVcomBank, PVI Holdings, PVI Insurance, PTSC M&C, PVTrans, PV GAS D, PVFCCo, PV Power NT2, PVCFC, GAS South, PV Drilling, and PVChem.

The VNR500 Ranking in 2020 saw the revenue growth of industries with the average rate of the entire enterprises achieving 12.52 per cent. Of which, many industries’ revenue growth achieved a double-digit number.

A recent survey conducted by Vietnam Report shows that until now, VNR500 enterprises have carried out a number of strategies to cope with the negative impacts caused by COVID - 19 epidemic and to recover after the epidemic.

According to the survey of Vietnam Report, Top 5 priority strategies of enterprises in 2020 included Strengthening training their employees and maximizing their human resources with 90.4 per cent of enterprises; 86.5 per cent of enterprises for Minimizing costs; 73.1 per cent of enterprises for Strengthening competitive advantages; 53.8 per cent of enterprises for Increasing capital for technology and digital application; and 42.3 per cent of enterprises for Promoting customer experiences.

The official announcement and honor ceremony of VNR500 Ranking 2020 is expected to be held on January 8, 2021 in Hanoi.
