Comrade Nguyen Van Que, chairman of People’s Committee in the Thanh Chuong District, and other leaders of the district, teachers, representatives of students’ parents, and students took part in the ceremony.
With the total capital of nearly VND5.2 billion, including VND5 billion donated by PV GAS for the construction, the new school includes the two –storey spacious building with eight classrooms equipped with enough necessary devices for teaching, and other works as well as the fences.
This is the unique secondary school of Thanh Tung Commune which is one of the most difficult communes in the mountainous district of Thanh Chuong in the Nghe An Province. Because of being frequently affected by storms and floods, the old school was severely degraded four-level houses which were built in 1976 and did not ensure safety for teachers and students to teach and study. The new spacious and beautiful school replaces the old one. This thing is the dream of teachers and students as well as students’ parents over last many years. Since now, the school’s teachers and students are not worried when storms and rains come.
