PV GAS donates more than VND300 million to the beloved Central region

Ta Ca commune was the hardest-hit area in the flash flood triggered by the storm No. 4. According to the local authorities’ statistics, the flood killed one person, swept away 54 houses, and devastatingly destroyed 51 houses. Moreover, 218 households had to be relocated urgently...

To promote the tradition of solidarity, mutual love, a good leaf covers torn leaves of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS), its Trade Union had called on its staffs and employees to donate cashes to people suffering damages caused by natural disasters. With the spirit of "All for the dear Central", PV GAS organized a delegation led by Mr. Tran Xuan Thanh - Trade Union’s Chairman, along with representatives of the Trade Union, Veterans Association, Youth Union and Petrovietnam LPG Joint Stock Company’s Ha Tinh Branch visited, encouraged and supported the affected people in Ta Ca commune.

The delegation donated VND10 million to the Ta Ca Fatherland Front Committee, the same amount to the household whose family’s member was killed due to the flood, and VND3 million to 54 households whose houses were completely swept away/collapsed each, VND1 million to 51 households whose houses were devastatingly destroyed each, and VND500 thousand to 218 households who had to relocate each. The total amount was worth VND342 million from the entire PV GAS contribution. The delegation also visited the affected families, encouraged people's spirit and shared with the local authorities.
