PV GAS and PTSC sign an EPC contract for Thi Vai LPG tank project.

The warehouse at Thi Vai Terminal is an important link, operating continuously in the Bach Ho and Nam Con Son gas pipelines, with a capacity equivalent to 50% of the LPG warehouses’ total capacity nationwide, and making an important contribution to ensuring national energy security and stabilizing the domestic LPG market.

Located within the warehouse at Thi Vai Terminal, the "Thi Vai LPG tank” project with LPG storage technology in spherical tanks is connected to the terminal’s existing infrastructure to increase storage capacity and improve efficiency in LPG storage system performance, to meet the stable development goals and to increase competitive advantages in the LPG sector of PV GAS.

The Thi Vai LPG Tank project includes 03 LPG tanks with a capacity of 2,000 tons of LPG/tank, along with technology and auxiliary systems to serve PV GAS needs and business strategy in Vietnam. The warehouse at Thi Vai Terminal with the function of LPG products import, storage and export. In addition, the project also aims to create a premise for optimizing and improving the efficiency of land use in the warehouse’s area in the following stages.

The Project will be expected to be completed EPC in 18 months, with the spirit of the contractor's commitment to meeting the requirements for safety, quality and progress at the optimal level, as well as the signed Contract’s requirements.

At the ceremony, with the witness of PV GAS and PTSC leaders, Mr. Tran Van Du - Director of Petrovietnam Gas Projects Management Company and Mr. Tran Hoai Nam - Deputy General Director of PTSC represented the two companies to sign the EPC contract for the Thi Vai LPG tank” project.

The ceremony took place successfully, and fully showed their spirit of cooperation with the goal of carrying out the contract successfully, putting the project into operation soon, bringing benefits to both companies and also contributions to the Oil and Gas industry, as well as the economy and society.
