PV GAS’s youth organises Humanity Blood Donation Day entitled “Beautiful Action for the Community”

Previously, PV GAS’s union also took part in/ responded to the Day in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province. The Day was organised by Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PETROVIETNAM)’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

The Day was held in PV GAS Tower to express and promote the spirit of solidarity and love, to share for the community, and to dignify beautiful social activities of PV GAS’ staff and the union’s members.

Its staff and the union’s members responded to the PV GAS’s union calling on donation in enthusiasm. The 2020 Day especially became exciting by the response of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union from PV GAS’ partners and guards at PV GAS Tower, the union of Phuoc Kien Commune in HCM City’s Nha Be District, the one of Ton Duc Thang University, and others.

Because of requirements of COVID-19 prevention and control, the Day was prompt to organise within one hour. Nearly 100 units of blood and hundreds of milk cans were donated as beautiful marks toward International Children’s Day.

In the Day’s activities, besides blood collection, Blood Transfusion and Hematology Centre under Cho Ray Hospital examined and provided counselling on health for volunteers.

With the message of “Blood Donation to Save People Is A Beautiful Action- Please Don’t Ignore!”, the campaign on voluntary blood donation held by PV GAS’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union was launched every year, enthusiastically communicating and calling on the union’s members and PV GAS’ staff to join and express shares with humanity.
