CNG Vietnam starts construction on the first LNG supply station in Thuan Dao Industrial Park, Long An Province

This is CNG Vietnam's the first LNG supply station project with a storage capacity of 50 tons in the first stage, and it is expected that after completion of construction and installation in April 2023, the station will supply to existing customers using compressed natural gas (CNG) such as: Oechsler Motion, Nam Hung Steel Co.ltd, Petfood Evolution, Asia Steel,... In the future, the station’s storage capacity will be expanded to meet the needs of other industrial clients in Thuan Dao Industrial Park.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Xuan, Deputy Director of CNG Vietnam, emphasized that although this was a small-scale gas project, it is the first LNG supply station, and an important starting step for the chain of CNG Vietnam’s LNG projects throughout the country in upcoming time when supplies and prices are stable.

On behalf of CFC Vietnam’s construction contractor, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung thanked the investor, CNG Vietnam, for trusting the contractor's capacity and committed to carrying out the project safely, ensuring quality and on schedule.

With the popular orientation of using clean fuels such as CNG and LNG, CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company wished to contribute to minimizing the impact on the environment, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and ensuring environmental criteria in the international conventions which Vietnam has signed.
